A SELECTION OF PREVIOUS EVENTS - Friday - 23rd January "MICKEY P & THE 45's"

PHATBULL & FRIENDS PRESENTS
"Mickey P & The 45's "

Flat Pak Yak Promotions - "Mickey P and the 45s must have been touched by a funky ball of tits from outer space! (Mighty Boosh anyone?). This group oozes with talent and sex appeal! Mickey P and the 45s always get the crowd's attention and admiration. A VERY tight band that is always more than welcome to play for us!"

Monto Water Rats - "The eclectic Mickey P writes, performs and produces a sublime mix of electro cross-over gems that lament on the trudgeries of life love and loss with his cohorts of revolving 45's in support. Check out their must-be-seen live show that promises to wake you from the slumbers of indie mediocrity and production line pop."

It was said of Mumble after their legendary appearance at the equally legendary PhatBull Festival "Mumble are a musical 3 piece established in 2004 in Manor Park East London, all their music, artwork, live show's & video's are of their own creation - and whatever media from Mumble you may be lucky enough to be exposed to - your senses will be eternally in your gratitude."

Previous Phat Bull & Friends in association with The Comedy Cafe

The Standards began in 1983 as a half-serious attempt to bring back good-time Rock 'n' Roll to the Stonehill College Campus. "Dorm Damage", as they were known then, incorporated hits of the 50's through the 80's with the emphasis squarely on fun! Dorm Damage shared the stage with the likes of The Stompers, The Fools, Girl's Night Out, B. Willie Smith and Beaver Brown.

"PHATBULL PRESENTS"
The Vees Christmas party.

3 rooms with Dj's: Luchie, Dirty sounds & The Deutscher Girls.

Special Guests - "Carlotti"
"Carlotti - Best Band in the World" - Liam Gallagher
Carlotti began in March 2006 and were born out of a shared passion for honest, "propper" Rock ‘n' Roll music. Carlotti soon bagged themselves their first gig within a mere 6 weeks through word of mouth and a home recorded demo and left the crowd reeling with the promoter declaring it,
‘one of the best sets his night had ever seen'. Their fan base has built up after playing gigs in pretty much every London venue, beginning with their friends and families in dank Camden backrooms, right through to Gibson showcases in Mayfair haunts, playing gigs at the likes of Turnmills, The Isle of Wight Festival, V Festival, The Dublin Castle and many other large music venues around the UK .
Special Guests - "Letters"
Letters are 1 girl and 3 boys from SE London. They play guitars, bass, loud drums and some of them sing. They formed in the summer of 2005 and have been intensively writing, pontificating and rehearsing ever since. They recorded 2 songs late last year with monsieur Andy of Stereolab in his fine studio in a beatiful industrial estate in Bow. Letters describe themselves as 'chippy choppy' but hope to add clappy to that after some serious hand work. letters are also teaching themselves to be lefthanded. Letters like a lot of music.
